Overview


The "Offline Antenna Correlator for EnVision" Project is a dedicated and significant endeavor aimed at developing an advanced offline operational arraying software tool specifically tailored to fulfill the unique requirements of ESA EnVision mission.

This project builds upon the solid foundation laid by the "Prototype of Off-line Correlator for Arraying of Large Aperture Antennas" (PROTOCOL) project, with the objective of elevating the software tool to Technology Readiness Level 5 (TRL-5) by December 2023.

The software tool will enable the combination of multiple signals acquired from different antennas, facilitating an increase in the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and allowing for the handling of larger data volumes. It encompasses the entire receiving chain, including correlation, demodulation, and decoding processes.
